Delivery
Tekwoods provides a complementary toolset for AutoCAD Architecture, which can be downloaded from the Web site and (like AutoCAD) is installed locally on the user’s PC. Management of user licenses is performed through an external third-party license management system.
New versions
As a complement to AutoCAD Architecture, Tekwoods follows the changes that AutoDesk makes to AutoCAD. The availability of new Tekwoods versions depends on the complexity of these changes.
Release cycle
Tekwoods maintains a flexible release cycle. Despite striving to launch a new version annually, Tekwoods may choose to skip a release year.
Updates and Modifications
Tekwoods releases necessary updates throughout the year. Installation of these updates is the responsibility of the user. Previous versions do not receive further updates.
Support Policy
Each version is supported until 18 months after the end of its launch year. In other words, a version released in 2024 will receive support until the middle of 2026.
Availability
Tekwoods is committed to a monthly uptime rate of 99.8%. Downtime caused by scheduled maintenance, external factors beyond Tekwoods’ control, or user or third-party errors, is not considered failure-related downtime.
Reachability and Response Times
Outages and bugs can be reported via email or the contact form. During business days, Tekwoods aims for a maximum response time of 4 to 8 hours for critical issues and 24 to 48 hours for other questions and reports.
Installation service and online support
Tekwoods offers, by appointment and for a fee, remote support through Teamviewer. Fees are calculated based on time worked, with a minimum of 15 minutes per session.
